One of Alicia's friends from school was in charge of giving away the tickets to his Bishop's luxury suite to their ward, and when there were a few extra, two came our way (thank you thank you thank you). We were so excited to be able to see the brand new stadium in Arlington, as well as our Cougars play live! The night totally exceeded our expectations. Everything about Cowboy Stadium is absolutely unbelievable, and those big screens inside you probably keep hearing about...yeah, I'd say they're big. They make you feel like you're in the 10th row of a movie theater. You all saw the game, so I won't belabor the recap to death. Suffice it to say we got to see our Alma Mater pull off a big one. I've never yelled GO DEFENSE any louder or more often. They held the line when needed time and again, our offense got it going when it counted, and BYU overcame a 23.5 point underdog prediction to beat the #3 team in the land! Here are some of the pictures we took as well as a video we put together of some of the short clips shot from our digital camera. The quality isn't the greatest, but all the emotion is there:)
The video:
We loved the pictures and video - it was great to talk to you on the phone while you were actually there. Wish we could have been there to but we had fun watching it on tv. GO COUGARS.
