Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam

All I wanted was a picture of Nolan in his Sunday best on his first day of Primary. Doesn't seem too difficult or too much to ask. But the kid would not stop moving, stand in a normal pose, and look at the camera. An impossible trio for a 3 year old. I know candid shots are everything, but the lighting was a little dim and I was having trouble getting a clear picture.

So Justin held his hand to help him stay still, and all I got was this "am I done, yet" expression.

And then back to wiggling.

Well, either way, he is officially a Sunbeam in Primary. He is still getting used to it and I think he misses all the playtime in nursery. For lunch on Sunday after church, I was helping him say the prayer and whispered, "I'm grateful I could go to Primary at church." And he shook his head and said, "I don't want to say that." So he modified it to, "We're grateful we could go to church." Baby steps.
