Trip to Utah--My sister's wedding

At the end of our trip in Idaho, we drove back down to Salt Lake City for my younger sister Sarah's wedding.  She married Tate Guild, who we all happen to like (thank goodness).  On Friday night, Tate's parents held a rehearsal dinner at Buco di Peppo.  There was so much food and it was a nice start to the wedding weekend.

Outside after dinner.  (Becs graduated from her dietetic internship that same Friday morning in Los Angeles, so she, Jordan, and Mom were in LA and flew in to SLC that night.)

Saturday afternoon my sister got married in the Salt Lake Temple.  With an afternoon sealing time, we all had plenty of time to sleep in, eat breakfast, and get ready without any stress (almost).

The day was a little windy and storms threatened...

...but luckily the rain stayed away.  

Sarah's hair was slightly damaged, but nothing a few bobby pins couldn't fix.

Sarah and Tate had their reception at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building up in the Wasatch Room.

Here are pictures of the bride and groom entering, the cake and cutting the cake, and the garter toss (which Jacob did not catch--he's 0 for 3, and good thing, too--he still has to graduate high school and serve a mission!).

Sarah wanted to have a dance floor and it was used well.

We're glad to have another great brother-in-law added to the family!

Sunday morning we went to the Conference Center for the Music and the Spoken Word, which is a tradition for our family.  If we're ever in Salt Lake on a Sunday, we'll be there (for the dress rehearsal and the real thing).  We filled up on breakfast at JB's and flew back out to Dallas.  It was a busy, busy trip and we loved seeing all our family!
