We've had a wonderful/busy/exhausting month since little Nolan was born.
We spent a lot of time feeding Nolan. Since Nolan was a "pre-term" baby, Nolan was breastfed and then given a bottle with breastmilk. It took a while for him to figure this out, but he's got it down. And Nolan's gained plenty of weight, so no more pumping after every feeding, and he gets a bottle only a few times a week when Justin feeds him.
Nolan sleeps best when he's swaddled, and Justin is hands-down the better swaddler.
When it's not too hot, we've gone on walks.
At his 3-week mark his little umbilical cord stub fell off...
...and we promptly gave him his first bath.
And after all the feeding, swaddling, going for walks, baths, and diaper changes, we managed to nap (accidentally) a little ourselves.
Happy One Month, Nolan!
