Justin turned 29 today! Since his birthday fell on the day before we leave for our trip, we actually celebrated his birthday a couple days early.
Nolan drew a picture for his Dad.
For his birthday dinner (on Tuesday), Justin requested burgers topped with guacamole and caramelized onions, and onion rings.
And after dinner Nolan helped unwrap Justin's presents.
I made cupcakes for Justin to bring into work today, and they had a small celebration during lunch. We ate some cake here at home, but Justin had to work late so Nolan was asleep and we went without the blowing-out-candles tradition. It was rather simple, but I think he had a good birthday. Next year's the big 3-0!
