Yesterday we went to the Newington Extravaganza for a quick Saturday morning activity. It's a simple town fair with carnival rides, fair food, and vendors. There were little paddle boats you could use, so we took a little ride on Mill Pond. Nolan was not fond of the life vest.
We saw some little turtles sunbathing and a little muskrat (probably) swimming.
Nolan may not look very happy, but he did enjoy our ride around the pond.
There was supposed to be a petting zoo, but it was too hot for the animals. We walked through the vendors and carnivals rides (and Nolan even wanted to try a few), but said no to the ridiculously high ticket prices. By then it was almost noon and very hot and humid, so we decided to head home. It was a short trip, but a fun Saturday morning.

Fairs are always fun! Always love your pond wildlife shots.
ReplyDeleteLittle Nolan is the sweetest. Looks like a fun boat ride! Yes, fairs are always so pricey, its ridiculous.
