Dental Olympics at San Antonio

Every year the three dental schools in Texas compete against each other at the Dental School Olympics.  It's all about proving your dental school is the least dorky/geeky and most athletic. This year the event was in San Antonio, so we drove down on Friday afternoon.  We ate dinner with some of Justin's friends at Cha Cha's and then went to a bar for the opening social.

The games started at 8 am Saturday morning.  Justin played in a soccer game, then three dodgeball games, two flag football games, one volleyball game, and two softball games (basically he was always playing something from 8-5:30).   Justin was so sore afterwards that he could barely walk, mostly from the hit he took in the clip below... pass interference!

Baylor won the competition, so the trophy will reside in Dallas for another year and Justin got his championship shirt.  It was an exhausting day for both of us, we went back to the hotel and then over to a friends' parents'  house for a great wrap up party.

We also got a chance to see the Alamo and the Riverwalk in downtown San Antonio before heading home.
